Congratulations to Year 10 design student, Fatima Sultani, who recently won the secondary category in the ‘2018 Design an Ad’ competition run by The West Australian.

This annual competition gives primary and secondary students in WA a chance to work with a real advertising brief from one of eight participating organisations.

Fatima designed a colourful advertisement to promote ‘The Awesome International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things’. She won $100 and her advertisement was featured in the August 28 edition of ED! Magazine, an insert in The West Australian newspaper.

There were almost 1,000 entries in this years’ competition and winning ads were chosen based on visual appeal, originality and creative concepts.
