I always felt accepted by all staff members and found the school very accommodating of the pathways chosen by students to leave school. With the schools’ help, I was able to complete a School-Based Traineeship two days of the week and still achieve my WACE in my three days attending school. I was a Senior Ranger in the BCC Police Rangers programme which instilled time-management and leadership skills. I am grateful for my time spent here.

Tegan – Class of 2022 Tegan was awarded two SCASA awards; VET Exhibition – Business and Financial Services; Information and Communications Technology, and VET Certificate of Excellence - Business and Financial Services; Information and Communications Technology.

As a student I felt very supported by the caring and dedicated teaching and leadership team at the school. I had access to many different opportunities to learn, grow, and develop throughout my studies. My experiences at the school prepared me well to pursue my future study and career goals.

Chelsea – Class of 2012 College Captain

I always felt supported by my teachers to work towards my goals, both educationally, and as a young adult preparing for the ‘real world’ post-school. I also enjoyed my time as a student councillor, which enabled me to be a voice for my peers and instilled early leadership skills. I look back on my five years at BCC fondly and am grateful for my time there.

Linda – Class of 2012

I really enjoyed my time at BCC. I had some incredible teachers along the way that invested in me, challenged me when I needed it and celebrated successes. I made many lifelong friends and felt well prepared for life after high school.
